Patrick Buerger   -    postdoctoral fellow with CSIRO's Synthetic Biology Platform and
the University of Melbourne working on engineering resilience into algal symbionts of corals.

Patrick finished his PhD on marine viruses and coral diseases
at the Australian Institute of Marine Science.
